Carlisle Company and the Gettysburg North-South Marathon

Marathon Start

Carlisle Co. Commander, Capt. Michael Smith and Harrisburg Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Stephen B. Lockridge run in the inaugural Gettysburg North-South Marathon on Sunday May 1,2011.

Carlisle Company, Harrisburg Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Stephen Lockridge, Carlisle Company  Commander, Capt. Michael Smith and Carlisle company Recruiters participate in the inaugural Gettysburg North-South Marathon held in Gettysburg May 1, 2011.  The marathon was held in conjunction with opening ceremonies of the 150th remembrance of the civil war.  More than 500 runners including Lockridge and Smith participated in the marathon which took the runners through Gettysburg College grounds, parts of the battlefield and the surrounding farmlands.

Carlisle Company Recruiters assisted with logistics by supplying and manning watering stations and assisting at race central.
