Week 10 winners for Army STRONG Wrestler/Wrestling Coach of the Year

Starting next week all week winners will via for the Army STRONG Wrestler/Wrestling Coach of the Year title for Pennsylvania

The Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion announces the winners for Week 10 of the Army STRONG Wrestler/Wrestling Coach of the Year for Pennsylvania, honoring Pennsylvania’s best high school wrestlers and coaches.

Starting next week, all week winners will via for the U.S. Army STRONG Wrestler and Wrestling Coach of the Year title for Pennsylvania. Winners will be listed starting Monday, Feb. 28 at http://www.thesportsflash.com.

Voting for the year winner in both categories will continue until midnight on Sunday, March 13. Winners will be announced on Monday March 14.

Franklin Regional’s Nico Megaludis is the Army STRONG Wrestler of the Week for Pennsylvania. Megaludis is 39-0 this season with 14 pins, 11 technical falls, and three major decisions at 125. As a weekly winner, Megaluis is now a finalist for the Army STRONG Wrestler of the Year for Pennsylvania.

Recruiters from Irwin RS will present Megaludis with a certificate signed by the Battalion Commander and Army STRONG Wrestler T-Shirt to recognize him as a weekly winner of the 2011 Army STRONG Wrestler of the Year for Pennsylvania.

Bermudian Springs High School’s David McCollum is the U.S. Army Coach of the Week for Pennsylvania. McCollum guided his team to five weight-class titles at the PIAA District III

Section 1 Class AA Wrestling Championships. As a weekly winner, McCollum is a finalist for the U.S. Army Coach of the Year in Pennsylvania.

Recruiters from Hanover RS will present Coach McCollum with a certificate signed by the Battalion Commander to recognize him as a weekly winner of the 2011 Army STRONG Wrestling Coach of the Year for Pennsylvania.

During the season, the U.S. Army and “The Sports Flash” (TSF) Radio Network accepted nominations for the Army STRONG Wrestler of the Week from Recruiters, BN staff, fans, the media, wrestling coaches and athletic directors.
