Pittsburgh Recruiting Company Station Commander of the Week

SFC Edward Landry, Station Commander of Monroeville Recruiting Station

WHO: SFC Edward Landry: Station Commander of Monroeville Recruiting Station

WHAT: Nominated as Pittsburgh Recruiting Company Station Commander of the Week

WHY: For demonstrating strong leadership and positively harnessing the capability of his team.

As the newly assigned station commander for the Monroeville RS, he and his team have accomplished a feat which has not been accomplished by that RS in over two years: Making the precision mission.

For the first time since 2008, Team Monroeville enlisted:
5 quality RA applicants which consisted of 4 GA and 1 SA, 2 quality USAR contracts which included 1 GA and 1 CHIS A in the month of Feb.

In addition, even though the station took 1 FS loss, they were able to rewrite the applicant within the same month.

This is definitely a step in the right direction and a testament to SFC Landry’s leadership and commitment to success.
