Station Commander of the Week-SFC Gregory Koskey

WHO: SFC Gregory Koskey, Station Commander of the Hanover Recruiting Station.

WHAT: Nomination as the Carlisle Recruiting Company Station Commander of the Week.

WHY: SFC Koskey leads the Hanover recruiting station located in Hanover PA. SFC Koskey thru his stellar leadership led his team to exceed the mission standard in FY 2010 and along the way collected the award for Top Station Commander of the year in the Carlisle company. What makes SFC Koskey special is not just his dedication to the mission, but the way he develops his subordinates to excel in all facets of their job. Two of SFC Koskey’s subordinates won Top RA recruiter of the year in the Harrisburg Battalion and Top NCO of the Carlisle company in FY 2010. SFC Koskey is a role model in every sense of the word. SFC Koskey has completed 102 semester hours towards a Bachelor of Science degree for Human Resources Management. SFC Koskey is slated to graduate this summer with his degree. SFC Koskey maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA in his studies and is also a devoted husband and father. SFC Koskey gives back to his local community thru his work with his church (Camp Hill Church of Christ). SFC Koskey is a Soldier that truly lives and breaths the NCO creed on a daily basis.
