SFC Sommerville has stepped up in the last two weeks as the acting First Sergeant during the company first sergeant’s leave.  During his time as acting first sergeant the company as developed and implemented two decisive operations surrounding senior prospecting and USAR prospecting, Operation Snow Blast and Operation Hangover.  Additionally, when the phase line began the company only accomplished one contract in the first week of the phase line.  SFC Sommerville’s dedication and motivation pushed the station commanders to prospect and process applicants in order to get the company onto lead line for both the RA and USAR missions.  While accomplishing these company achievements, SFC Sommerville has also been able to push his station to complete its 2nd Quarter mission with 6 weeks left in the quarter.
